Warehouse General Labor Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse General Labor Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the overall operations within the warehouse by assisting with inventory, order fulfillment, packaging, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role requires physical labor and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Shipping: Assist with unloading and loading goods from trucks/pallets. Ensure all products are properly scanned, labeled, and stored.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and pack items for shipment based on order specifications when needed. Ensure accuracy of order contents.
• Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment. Ensure products are organized and easily accessible.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by keeping aisles clear and items properly stored. Follow company protocols for product handling and storage.
• Product Handling: Move and organize products using manual labor, forklifts, or pallet jacks as required. Ensure that items are handled carefully to avoid damage.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and warehouse guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Team Collaboration: Work with other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines. Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar labor-intensive role is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more).
• Basic math and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor tasks.
