Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for Critical Care Transports. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a transport environment, specifically in an ambulance. This role requires expertise in critical care and/or Emergency nursing, and the ability to handle complex medical situations with professionalism and compassion. Critical thinking skills are a must.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Working outside the hospital environment, transporting critically ill patients, and patients needing specialty care for interfacility transports.
- Administer injections and manage intravenous (IV) therapy effectively.
- Ability to work independently under protocols and doctors orders.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in critical care nursing is required,
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential nursing skills, including administering injections and managing complex patient needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $125,447.56 - $165,969.11 per year
Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week
