Direct Support Professional

Actively Living Life Inc. is a small, family owned business operating group homes for children and adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for reliable and team-orientated staff to join our team located in Delano, MN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals in a group home setting
• Support clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and personal supports
• Monitor client health and behavior, reporting any changes to necessary healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring hygiene standards are met
• Assist with recreational activities and social engagements to promote well-being
• Administer medication and first aid as needed and follow care plans developed by healthcare teams
• Documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years old or older
• Must pass a background check
• Flexible and reliable
• Experience in cleaning and maintaining a safe living space
• Ability to prepare meals and assist with cooking for clients
• Previous care-giving and/or direct support experience is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
