Finance Manager Chicago IL (Locals Only) - Must work on W2

Finance Manager with P&L, Financial Reporting, Statements and Balance Sheets & SAP

Chicago IL – 3 days onsite in a week (Only Locals)

12 Months contract

Must work on W2 basis

Requirements :

• Significant experience (8 years) in finance or commercial is vital, with experience across financial reporting / analysis and commercial operations / development a plus.
• Must have experience working with $100MM P&Ls or more
• Must be highly proficient in MS Access and MS Excel
• Must bring extensive experience within cost reviews and deep dives on investments and overall financial processes, etc.
• Requires a strong financial foundation and a good understanding of statements and balance sheets
• Bachelor's degree or higher is required -flexible on degree area (Finance, Accounting, Engineering, etc)
• MBA or CFA helpful but not required.
• Ability to interpret and communicate financial information and commercial drivers with transparency, provide insights to deliver business improvement and to optimize and protect value.
• Experience managing and balancing multiple partner groups
• Must be able to build consensus and engagement with key partners at all levels and across the organization Experience within SAP or similar is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Power BI, Excel, Access, VBA, SQL, etc.
• Proven energy industry experience, with emphasis supply, logistics, and trading
• Work directly with the Head of Planning and Performance Management to complete an end-to-end cost review of the business, create and follow up investigative paths, track actions, and follow through to delivered cost savings.
• Support the collective Midstream finance team in conducting a comprehensive gross margin review including cost-in-margin.
• Build and maintain tools to track and manage the investment portfolio, including implementation of structured processes, performance management, and control monitoring.
• Other ad-hoc projects or initiatives as needed.
