About the Role:

Due to our recent growth, we are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Tax and Audit Department. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and helping them navigate various tax and audit matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns.

• Provide tax planning services to clients, offering guidance on both short-term and long-term tax strategies.

• Work closely with federal and state agencies to resolve issues related to taxes and other compliance matters.

• Conduct audits, with a focus on non-profit organizations.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks.

• Stay current on tax law changes and their implications for clients.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in tax preparation and planning for both individuals and businesses.

• Demonstrated ability to handle tax-related issues with federal and state agencies.

• Experience in auditing non-profit organizations.

• Familiarity with Lacerte tax software is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
