Your MissionAs a Senior Narrative Animator, you will be expected to create high fidelity previs assets, cinematics, narrative in-game moments, and first-person animations that support the Design and Narrative goals of the project. These animation assets will also need to align with the quality, style, and feel of the rest of the game. You will be joining our passionate and talented team of animators who continue to push industry standards of quality that echo throughout our studio. Your effort to support the narrative beats of the game will include : Manipulate motion capture and hand key data to produce high-quality animationsImplement and maintain animations using proprietary tools within our game engineCommunicate and collaborate with animators, directors, designers, writers, and cinematographers to complete tasksSupport and co-direct motion capture sessions to achieve the highest fidelity performances from actors and stunt performersPlayer ProfileMinimum Requirements : 4 years of game development experienceA strong passion for animation, video games, and the entertainment it inspires and draws fromA strong ability for hand-keyed animationExcellent Maya animation experiencePossess the ability to take tasks from concept to completion with minimal supervisionCollaborative ability to work with multiple people and disciplines to complete tasksPossess the ability to provide and receive feedback from animatorsOur WorldAt Activision, we strive to create the most iconic brands in gaming and entertainment. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
