We are looking for committed employees willing to work as part of a team to provide compassionate care and help others with developmental disabilities achieve their individualized goals. As a DSW (Floater), you will support individuals in learning the skills needed to increase their independence in areas of life such as community involvement, job skills, education, personal health, and daily living skills. Hiring for varies work locations throughout region four. Work areas are Lafayette, New Iberia, Evangeline parish, Saint Landry, Saint Mary, and Saint Martin parish.
We are currently looking for committed employees to provide compassionate care while helping others achieve their individualized goals. As a Short-Term Respite Mentor (Floater), you will support children/adolescents in developing the skills needed to increase their independence in areas of avoiding stressful situations and providing a therapeutic outlet for the child.
May work in the office on certain days in varies departments with timesheets, filing, and other duties as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age or older; preferred High School diploma, possess a valid Driver’s license and auto insurance for some programs; have a reliable vehicle to transport during shift; be able to favorably pass all background checks; and must have full range of motion, physical strength and ability to achieve and maintain trainings and certifications.
