We're seeking a part-time Martial Art Instructor for evening classes, catering to students of various skill levels - from beginners to advanced ranks. As an instructor at ActivStars, you'll have the opportunity to teach your primary martial art style while following our curriculum guidelines. Our class locations are year-round, and we're looking for committed and dedicated instructors to fill long-term positions.
Your teaching responsibilities will include preparing classes, instructing students, overseeing class registration, maintaining basic records, and promoting tournaments, camps, or clinics. To ensure your success, we provide paid training sessions covering our teaching guidelines, record-keeping, and on-site training with an experienced instructor.

Requirements:
- Certified black belt in a traditional forms-based martial art
- Experience in Karate, Taekwondo, Kenpo, Kung Fu, or equivalent styles
- Solid technical foundation and self-defense skills
- 18 years of age or older
- Reliable vehicle for transportation
Work Schedule:
- Weekday evenings (5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)
- Typically one to two days per week
Compensation:
- $15-$30 /hr (teaching pay based on student rate)
- Instructors average $300-$400 per month (teaching just one day a week)
