We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and technical knowledge and experience in diesel engine repair. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections.
- Conduct diagnostics to identify problems using automotive diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems in diesel engines.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for repairs or testing.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Perform Computer Diagnostics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in vehicle maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
- Certification from a recognized trade school or equivalent experience is a plus.
