The Terraces at Bonita Springs is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Maintenance Technician (Painter) position. Our beautiful, gated community is located in Bonita Springs, FL.
Job Type: Full-Time
In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex surface preparation, selecting appropriate paint materials, and using various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish. Removes old finishes and preps surface for interior and/or exterior painting. Applies coats of primer, paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, other structures, and/or equipment. Assists with ordering paint materials, estimating amount of paint needed, and coordinating schedule with other phases of work. Maintains inventory of supplies, including paint brushes, tarps, chemicals, etc. Supports the preventative maintenance schedule.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of technical experience in maintenance
- Prior commercial and/or residential painting experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
