Job Title: Level I Helpdesk Technician
Location: Schenectady, NY (Full-Time, In-Office)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST

Acture Solutions is looking for a motivated and service-minded Level I Helpdesk Technician to join our on-site support team at the Scotia Glenville School District. What You’ll Do

In this hands-on role, you’ll be the go-to tech expert for students, educators, and school staff—helping them stay connected, productive, and supported. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to support requests and resolving hardware, software, and network issues across multiple school locations.
  • Troubleshooting devices such as Windows computers, Chromebooks, printers, projectors, phones, and more.
  • Managing support tickets and meeting service level expectations to keep things running smoothly.
  • Installing and maintaining IT systems and participating in technology upgrades and rollouts.
  • Documenting work, following safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to deliver quality results.

What You Bring

Required:

  • Previous IT support experience (education or MSP experience a plus).
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and familiarity with a variety of devices and systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and ticketing platforms.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • CompTIA Network
  • CompTIA Security

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and travel between school sites.
