IT Infrastructure Senior Manager

The IT Infrastructure Senior Manager ensures proper design, implementation, support, and overall administration of Actus Nutrition’ s technology infrastructure.  Areas of support includes compute, storage, network, security, systems administration, cloud services, hosting services, and co-location sites.  The IT Infrastructure Senior Manager helps to define the vision and strategy necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and security of Actus Nutrition’s environment.   This role is responsible for the planning, managing and coordinating the operations of Actus Nutrition’s infrastructure and the technology staff that are responsible for the administration, monitoring and maintenance of these infrastructure systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops partnerships throughout Actus Nutrition and with our external business partners to deliver technology services that help drive the success for Actus Nutrition.
• Manages the team responsible for compute, storage, infrastructure, systems administration, and support.
• Collaborates with the systems technical staff and trusted partners to design and build a global architecture and roadmap to enhance Actus Nutrition’s infrastructure systems and applications.
• Oversees and engages in systems administration activities including Microsoft 365 administration, EntraID and active directory management, and other administrative tools and functions (patch management, systems policies, management, and security)
• Oversees and engages in endpoint systems administration and related functions including new systems deployment, client application installs, patch management, and security.
• Ensures that systems backups are completed in a timely manner and are protected from ransomware or similar harm; ensures that test restores are performed routinely to validate the integrity of our backups and to assess our preparedness for recovery.
• Oversees and engages in security operations including security awareness training, end-point protection, managed detection and response, access/permissions management, and authentication (SAML, Multi-factor, security keys, windows hello, password management, etc)
• Oversees the team's day-to-day priorities including project workload and manages the team’s after-hours on-call support activities to ensure operational demands are met.
• Leads creation of standards for new technology.
• Guides, directs, or recommends enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity.
• Develops and provides solutions targeted to meet existing, enhanced, and new service network/security platform solutions for business and infrastructure services.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and recommends improvement for Infrastructure systems at an advanced level across Actus Nutrition's environment.
• Authors and provides input for systems and services, documentation, procedures, and processes.
• Assists with daily support issues as required.
• Serves as a back-up in the event of an absence of another employees.
• Performs special projects and other responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 years of previous Network and Systems Administration experience in a multi-facility organization.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the management, design and implementation of IT infrastructure systems
• 5 years of Security Administration
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill
• ITIL/ITSM Knowledge
• 7 years working with Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID
• 4 years working with Cloud Administration (Azure, AWS, etc)
• 5 years designing, deploying, and managing security solutions.
• Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science or related area

Actus Nutrition prides itself on advancement opportunities for our current workforce to promote from within.  We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance as well as a healthy 401(k) company match program.  The starting annual base salary range for this position is between $145,000—$165,000 USD with initial eligibility consideration for our Discretionary Incentive Plan. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to education, skill set and depth of experience. Additional Compensation offered to eligible employees: Mobile Device Reimbursement and Travel Reimbursement.
