- Support a cross-functional development team to deliver high-quality software.
- Support all disciplines within the software development lifecycle (e.g., requirements, development, testing, continuous integration and deployment, operations support)
- Gauge time/development effort-level relationship, analyzing data, design and implementation of code efficiently
- Work on backend security such as TLS and SSL
- Practice Test-Driven Development and automate all unit and integration tests
- Promote knowledge sharing by way of code reviews, documentation, pair programming, etc.
- Contribute to story task definitions and actively participate in scrum rituals
- Collaborate efficiently with developers, business analysts, testers and other teams to ensure timely deliverables
- Uphold best practices by following and enforcing such standards across various technologies
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- at least 9 years of experience required. Development in a federal government setting preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience developing decoupled SpringBoot, Microservices, and RESTful API's
- Working knowledge of Java build tools, Spring, ORMs, CI/CD concepts, GIT, Typescript, and Angular
- Experience implementing backend security
- Strong troubleshooting experience with capacity to identify root cause and resolve problems quickly
- Naturally produce clean, well-documented, high quality code with minimal code smells, vulnerabilities, or bugs
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a government Public Trust Suitability
