Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified optometrist for an immediate opening in Millinocket and Brownville, Maine. The successful candidate will provide quality eye care and emergency treatment to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vision tests, analyze results, and develop a treatment plan
- Examine eyes using observation, instruments, and pharmaceutical agents to determine visual acuity and perception, focus, and coordination, and diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or color blindness.
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
- Prescribe therapeutic procedures to correct or conserve vision
