Job Title: Emergency Room RN / Acute Care
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate opening in our acute care setting in Lewisville, TX. The clinical RN provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
In collaboration with the patient, their family, and other members of the healthcare team, the clinical RN is responsible for assessing the nursing care needs of patients, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes of care.
About the Role
- Provide direct nursing care to emergency room patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary
Requirements and Qualifications
- Texas RN license or compact license
- BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS (AHA) certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained)
- ENPC or PALS (AHA) certification required within one year of hire
- Minimum ASN (Associates Degree in Nursing) or BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing); will accept ASN if enrolled in a BSN program and must complete within 36 months
- At least 1 year of recent experience in an emergency room setting
