Job Description
Acumatica is looking for a Director, Talent Development reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role has key impact on employee engagement, by driving retention and growth, building talent development strategy, building and executing integrated initiatives that drive high performance and enhance our employee experience and culture. You will help drive change-management strategies and champion initiatives that create a framework for employee career pathing and skill development.
This role will establish the talent development center of excellence in the people team for the first time. Your opportunity will be to shape and enable organizational capability through company programs which foster employee development, learning, talent management, succession planning among others, designing solutions and implementing effective methods for sustainability and future proofing Acumatica.
This is an individual contributor role with the expectation to partner with HRBPs and HR Ops to scale.

For this role, the salary range is $180,000-$225,000 annually. This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job and may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant elements.
At Acumatica, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock for full-time employees. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Responsibilities
- Competency Development: Support the ongoing build-out of Acumatica’s job architecture, partnering with total rewards and the business to build the framework and content on career paths, career progression that best align with employee, talent development and business needs.
- Partner effectively with a wide array of stakeholders from executive leaders to HR team members in assessing, designing, and implementing solutions to organizational learning and talent development strategies.
- Own and drive key learning and development programs and initiatives that drive continuous improvement and achievement of business objectives focused on key soft skills that drive our culture, management excellence and leadership development.
- Drive consistency in talent evaluation across the entire employee lifecycle (i.e. hiring, performance, progression, etc.).
- Partnering with CPO to help drive the implementation of company values continuing to evolve our company culture while embedding them into how we operate.
- Evolve and refine performance management frameworks that drive accountability and link performance to compensation and career development.
- Lead employee engagement and retention strategies by leveraging data-driven insights to shape programs that enhance culture and employee experience.
- Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to align talent initiatives with business priorities.
- Partner with People Analytics to establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent programs and drive continuous improvement.
- Utilize talent metrics and trends to provide actionable insights, guiding our strategic decisions and helping us identify current and future programs that enable our talent needs.
- Leads the employee engagement survey process, develop the survey, manage communications, analyze results, and drive action planning
- Management of Udemy as learning platform and its effectiveness
- Evolving strategy to creation and execution of talent reviews, increasing organizational capability
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Required in Human Resources Management or Business
- 10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Organizational Design.
- 3 years working with C-Suite or Executives
- Proven expertise in complex, change management, leadership development, and cultural evolution.
- Strong background in Organizational Psychology, Leadership, or Change Management.
- Ability to partner with executive leadership to drive talent and change initiatives.
- Requires communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills.
- Ability to build plans at strategic and tactical level.
- Data oriented with analytical skills.
- Project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
- Proven ability to set strategy, build tactical execution plans, and deliver measurable results.
- Expertise in coaching and mentoring to develop talent and facilitate career progression.
- Up to 15% domestic and international travel
