Role Description
This is currently a part-time on-site role for an Accounting Assistant which will gradually turn into a full time role. Candidate will be responsible for assisting with all the accounting tasks including but not limited to downloading documents from the clients, inputting data or completing bank feeds, completing A/R, A/P, reconciling income and completing coding accurately. The accounting assistant will also be responsible for communication with clients and maintaining professional conduct during such interactions. Candidate will also be reporting to an accounting manager who will review the work and issue financial statements.
Qualifications
- Accounting Software proficiency, specifically QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Must have formal accounting education and know how to navigate through completing work for a client from start to finish.
- Must have knowledge and experience with payroll, payroll taxes, quarterly form filing and W-2s.
- Ability to setup a new client on QuickBooks Online for payroll and accounting
