What we're looking for :
Acumera is a leader in providing converged infrastructure solutions to the retail and hospitality industry. Our customers are some of the largest and best known global store, restaurant, and hospitality brands. Our solution is built on a cutting edge Linux based virtualization stack that features total management through a devops driven infrastructure. We design, develop, and maintain a software stack that includes a core virtualization solution built on Debian Linux with Docker, and KVM, with supporting management code built in Puppet and Ruby. Our back-end management environment includes Ruby, Rails, and Redis components. The Systems Engineer performs production systems integration work involving Linux, networking, open source tools, and automation to implement our solutions. This position is open to local Texas or Florida candidates. We have offices located in Austin, Texas and Tallahassee, Florida. This role requires hybrid flexibility with 2-3 days a week onsite.
Responsibilities :
- Work directly with clients and project managers to implement the Acumera Reliant Edge Platform for new and existing clients
- Create / Maintain Cloud infrastructure for client deployments via Terraform in AWS
- Develop and maintain automated build solutions utilizing Jenkins.
- Demonstrate best-practice knowledge and apply skills to deliver an effective solution specific to client needs.
- Interface with DevOps team on projects for clients as well as perform QA.
- Travel to client sites may be required
