Job Summary
Our healthcare client is seeking a highly skilled AI / ML Architect to design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge AI / ML solutions for healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AI / ML, deep learning, and big data analytics, with a strong understanding of healthcare data, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
AI / ML Solution Architecture
- Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure AI / ML architectures for healthcare applications.
- Develop end-to-end ML pipelines, from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring.
- Ensure AI / ML solutions comply with HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare regulations.
- Optimize models for real-time predictions, inference speed, and accuracy.
Model Development & Deployment
Architect and deploy deep learning, NLP, and predictive analytics models for healthcare use cases such as disease prediction, patient risk stratification, and medical imaging analysis.Leverage LLMs (Large Language Models) for clinical NLP tasks, including clinical documentation, chatbots, and medical text summarization.Utilize MLOps frameworks (Kubeflow, MLflow, or TFX) for model versioning, tracking, and automation.Data Engineering & Integration
Work with structured and unstructured healthcare data (EHR, HL7, FHIR, claims data, genomic data, medical imaging).Collaborate with data engineers to design data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming architectures.Implement feature engineering, data augmentation, and synthetic data generation techniques.Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and cloud architects to deliver AI-driven healthcare solutions.Work closely with clinical and business stakeholders to translate healthcare challenges into AI solutions.Stay ahead of emerging AI / ML trends and best practices in healthcare and mentor junior team members.Required Skills & Experience
AI / ML & Deep Learning
Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and Hugging Face.Experience in NLP, computer vision, and time-series forecasting.Knowledge of LLMs (GPT, BERT, BioBERT, Med-PaLM) and Transformer architectures.Hands-on experience with model optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, distillation).Big Data & Cloud Technologies
Expertise in Big Data tools (Spark, Databricks, Apache Kafka).Experience with AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML for model deployment.Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra), and data pipelines (Airflow, Prefect, Luigi).Healthcare-Specific Experience
Hands-on experience with FHIR, HL7, DICOM, OMOP, and healthcare interoperability standards.Understanding of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, FDA AI / ML guidelines).Experience in clinical decision support, medical imaging, genomics, or claims analytics.Preferred Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI / ML, Data Science, or a related field.Certifications in AI / ML (AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty, TensorFlow Developer, Google Cloud ML Engineer, etc.).Experience in federated learning, edge AI, and privacy-preserving AI in healthcare.
