Job Title: Revenue Analyst
Location: Sterling, VA
Duration: Full-Time Permanent
Reports To: Global VP of Revenue
Shift Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Summary:
The Revenue Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and forecasting revenue streams to optimize financial performance. This role ensures accurate revenue recognition, identifies growth opportunities, and contributes to strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling, data analysis, and revenue management experience, along with excellent collaboration and attention to detail.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with business intelligence tools & ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Forecasting: Monitor economic conditions and conduct revenue forecast analysis.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management.
- Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate billing practices and proper revenue recognition.
- Data Analysis: Compile and analyze detailed revenue data, creating trend analysis reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, planning, accounting, and operations to track revenue KPIs.
- Process Improvement: Design, implement, and enhance revenue management processes.
- Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to support strategic revenue planning.
- ERP Systems: Experience with NetSuite or other major ERP systems is a plus.
- Microsoft Excel: Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, data analysis).
- Assist the Revenue team as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
