Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and deliver cloud-first, highly scalable enterprise systems using AWS.
- Spearhead cloud migration projects, including application, infrastructure, and data migration.
- Define technical roadmaps, solution blueprints, and architecture decision records (ADR).
- Lead initiatives to decompose monolithic systems into microservices and domain-driven designs.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and backend services using Java, Spring Boot.
- Champion DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and infrastructure automation.
- Manage system scalability, security, performance, and reliability across distributed systems.
- Mentor teams and provide guidance in system design, coding standards, and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to shape business and product strategy through technology.
- 12 years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a solution architecture or technical leadership role.
- Hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST APIs, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Deep understanding of AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Cognito, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD implementation.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Neo4J).
- Solid grasp of system security, IAM, data pipelines, and scalable storage systems.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams-both onshore and offshore.
- Exposure to digital transformation projects, preferably in eCommerce, EdTech, Financial Services, or Enterprise SaaS domains.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.
- Experience working with CMS systems, enterprise integration patterns, and content pipelines.
- Familiarity with Apache Solr, CQ/Day CMS, or similar content search solutions.
- Patent holders or contributors to open-source projects.
- Prior leadership in large-scale image/media/data-heavy applications is a big plus.
