We are seeking a skilled Metallographer II to support our operations in Richburg, SC. This is a high-volume lab setting with a flexible schedule.
About the Role
In this role, you will assist laboratory personnel in preparing samples for analysis. Your tasks will include polishing or etching samples and designating areas for microscopic examination. You will also study photomicrographs and perform examinations to determine metal characteristics such as crystal structure, porosity, and homogeneity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for analysis by polishing or etching.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a materials laboratory setting or related field.
- An Associate's degree or two years of post-high school studies in a relevant technical field.
- Excellent English communication skills, including correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
