Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an NDT Technician located in Chicago, IL. The NDT Technician will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing using techniques such as PAUT, UT, Eddy Current, and Corrosion inspection. Daily tasks will include performing inspections, ensuring quality control, reporting findings, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to assess the integrity of materials and structures. The role also involves interpreting test results and maintaining equipment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PAUT, UT, Eddy Current, MT, PT and Ultrasonics techniques
- Experience in Corrosion inspection and materials assessment
- Strong understanding of Quality Control and Inspection processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams
- Effective communication and report writing skills
- Experience in the industrial or energy sectors is a plus
- Certification in relevant NDT methods (e.g., ASNT, NAS 410) is highly desirable
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training or higher education is advantageous
