Summary: The FootJoy Sales Representative will be responsible for the sales and service of all golf products distributed by FootJoy to all its direct accounts assigned within a geographic territory. Achieve desired sales and distribution goals as established by the organization. Perform agreed upon service and support functions directly related to articulated company objectives. Brand champion for FootJoy and trusted business adviser to all assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell and service the appropriate FootJoy product line to assigned FootJoy direct accounts.
  • Achieve individual product line sales and distribution objectives (dollars and units) as assigned by Sales Management to achieve total Company objectives.
  • Fulfill administrative duties: comply with FootJoys's pricing programs, policies and procedures; efficient, timely, accurate order entry into laptop; accurate and active administration of car-stock; accurate record of promotional budget; accurate account files and records.
  • Actively merchandise and maintain FootJoy products including displays and POP promotional materials to promote sell through and minimize product returns.
  • Customer Relations: establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with a "customer focused" attitude regardless of volume, potential or credit status; timely follow-up on phone calls, customer requests, handling customer issues/problems with a positive outcome; balance customer expectations with corporate objectives.
  • Promote FootJoy Brand and products at Sectional, State and other designated Championship events, in addition to daily Pyramid of Influence work with PGA Pros, Assistants and Key Amateurs.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior Field Sales experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the FootJoy product is required.
  • This position requires the incumbent drive throughout the assigned geographic territory.
  • To the extent that it is required to provide optimal territory coverage overnight travel is a requirement.
  • Must posses and maintain a valid drivers license.
