Salary Range: $25.97 - $28.10 per hour; plus bonus eligibility

Summary: The Club Assembly Lead is charged with assisting the department Supervisor in leading and training the other members of the team in golf club operations.

Responsibilities:

• As a subject matter expert (SME) maintains a high degree of technical proficiency in the assigned area to guide and mentor others (without taking on a supervisory role).
• Assists management with motivating co-workers, communicating the strategic direction along with the required work projects to team members.
• Assists in assigning tasks to team members based on knowledge of their skills and talents. Tracks progress, monitors team tasks and ensures deadlines are met.
• Provides on-the-job training and new-hire orientation on team processes and helps ensure the team is proficient to accomplish the assigned tasks.
• Provides day-to-day operational guidance and uses technical skills to assist staff. Serves as intermediary between other staff members and management.
• Assist department supervisor to ensure that assembler associate training for all assembly operations is performed according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor assembly process to ensure SOPs are being followed in all areas.
• Communicate closely with supervisor regarding associate attendance, performance, production issues and associate concerns.
• Supports company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.
• Ensure smooth flow of daily production. Ensure circular break rotation is being followed. Participate in cycle (inventory) count events. Support process to help reduce or eliminate scrap.
• Lead will be in in constant contact throughout the day with one or more of the following departments as needed: Q.A, Raw Materials, Maintenance, Engineering, IT, other Department's Production Supervisor and Leads, Pack out/Transfer Administrator, Custom Shipping, and Director of Manufacturing.
• Lead must be able prepared to work daily overtime and on weekends, as required by business and set by management. Lead associates will be responsible to assist in filling in during the absence of department supervisor. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
  
  

Requirements:

• High School or equivalent
• Must have sufficient experience to demonstrate an above average ability to perform the tasks of golf club assembly.
• Previous experience across the entire stock and custom process, including pulling and rework. Previous experience training other associates on golf club assembly and providing constructive feedback on the assembly process. Previous experience as a supervisor or lead of staff preferred but not required.
• Must demonstrate strong ability to learn new skills. Must be able to stand for full work shift. • Read, write and speak English
• Follow manufacturing/equipment specifications

• Use machine tools such as drills, lathes, millers etc.
