We’re looking to hire an industrious worker with willingness to learn, and a janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in an office environment. Cleaning duties include restrooms, lunchroom, vacuuming, emptying trash, dusting, and cleaning windows.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
- Monday through Friday, Part-time Evenings, 30 hours per week
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, clean restrooms, clean lunchroom, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
- Clean windows
- Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
- Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
- Notify the manager of major repairs
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
- Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
- Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
