About Us:

Acute Community Home Aid is committed to excellence in financial management. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper proficient in QuickBooks to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our day-to-day operations.

Job Description:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. You will work closely with management to ensure the smooth operation of our accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records.
  • Prepare and process invoices, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Maintain general ledger and ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
  • Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and tax filings.
  • Monitor budgets and cash flow to provide insights on financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (required).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Candidates must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to perform essential administrative and organizational tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
