Position Overview: We are currently hiring for B-Level Machinists with lathe and/or mill experience. We have immediate openings for the following roles:
- NZX Lathe Line Operator (Night Shift - Training on Days)
- Horizontal/Vertical Mill Operator (Night Shift - Training on Days)
Candidates will begin on the day shift for training and transition to nights upon successful completion of the training program.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
- Perform tool changes and offsets to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills (1-3 years preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and tolerances.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different machines and processes.
- Night shift availability after completion of day shift training.
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality and teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.58 - $24.13 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
