Acutronic is looking for an Engineering Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for performing assembly, test, and troubleshooting operations required throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. The Engineering Technician will serve as a champion of product development prototyping and testing within the Engineering Team supporting the following product lines : actuation systems, turbo-generators, power generation, power conversion, & distribution, and micro-thrust turbines.

Your Roles / Responsibilities :
- Perform assembly, test, and troubleshooting operations required throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
- Proactively assist the engineering team with the documentation of assembly and test processes required for production
- Lead troubleshooting efforts related to product performance
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement production process and design improvements
- Inspect internally and externally assembled products to ensure compliance with IPC and other industry quality standards
- Participate in new product development reviews to help ensure product meets DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) standards
- Collaborate with the engineering team to produce engineering prototypes, identifying product enhancements and process steps to ensure product improvements are captured and implemented
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and perform design verification testing
