What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Sales Director position at ACV Auctions?
What you will do :
- Educate commercial customers and prospects on all products and services that ACV offers.
- Develop an aggressive sales plan with a defined group of national consignors.
- Hit target levels of performance that is measured in new national accounts and unit growth that is established by the company.
- Identify, prioritize, and cultivate relationships with strategic accounts to expand the company's market presence.
- Understand the unique needs of each strategic account and developing customized solutions.
- Conducts client need analyses and facilitates or performs product demonstration based on client requirements.
- Secures agreements with customers, negotiates agreements, and presents / negotiate commercial terms.
- Performs routine client follow-up to ensure ongoing satisfaction and support.
- Evaluates market and industry trends to effectively position our product and stay ahead of competitors.
- Attends and participates in regular sales and other internal company meetings and external trade shows or conferences.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Monitor account performance and satisfaction, making adjustments as necessary.
- Lead and mentor a team of commercial strategic account executives.
- Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements. Generate reports on fleet performance, account growth, and revenue projections.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
