What are the responsibilities and job description for the M&A Associate position at ACV Auctions?
What you will do :
- Develop a detailed understanding of ACV’s strategic objectives and market landscape, gather competitive industry intelligence, and help identify high potential acquisition opportunities across existing and future market verticals and geographies. Advise and challenge M&A strategy
- Drive deal analysis, including valuation, business case construction, deal structuring, thorough development of financial and operating models, and robust post-acquisition scorecards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across ACV and advisors on all aspects of M&A including deal management and due diligence
- Produce effective board level and company presentations related to M&A and investments
- Partner with internal Integrations function and business partners to ensure deal objectives are met
- Undertake special projects and business initiatives
What you will need :
Compensation : $79,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
