The Executive Sales Director - Commercial leads a critical function within ACV, overseeing the management of our Commercial clients and prospects and fostering key relationships with strategic accounts. This role is integral to optimizing ACV's commercial efficiency, maintaining customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships. The Executive Sales Director - Commercial is responsible for developing and executing strategies that ensure the success of our commercial partners and the expansion of our strategic accounts portfolio.
What you will do:
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, routing, and asset utilization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in fleet management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain a high level of safety and security standards for the fleet.
Identify, prioritize, and cultivate relationships with strategic accounts to expand the company's market presence.
Understand the unique needs of each strategic account and developing customized solutions.
Collaborate with the sales team to negotiate contracts and agreements.
Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Monitor account performance and satisfaction, making adjustments as necessary.
Lead and mentor a team of commercial sales managers
Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the team.
Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements. Generate reports on fleet performance, account growth, and revenue projections.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
8-10 years’ strategic sales account management experience
4-5 years’ progressive leadership experience.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Understanding of fleet operations, logistics, and the automotive/tech industry.
Communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Leadership and team management experience.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering results.
