Who we are looking for:
The Analyst II, Credit & Portfolio supports the Floorplan Portfolio Division with the assignment, management, and analysis of the portfolio in adherence to ACV Capital’s Policies. This role will have an in-depth knowledge of floorplan account management and leverage their knowledge to continuously improve the proactive portfolio management process under a moderate level of supervision. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Credit & Portfolio Management, the Analyst II, Credit & Portfolio will collaborate with a variety of departments and cross-functional teams within the organization.
What you will do:
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Review and assess floorplan accounts for potential risk by utilizing rubric according to business score, credit score, and other varying factors. Use systems to gather data and metrics to support assessments.
Prepare, review, and submit documents required to secure floorplan accounts, including PMSI and UCC filings.
Develop and implement solutions for continuous improvement in analysis, auditing, and managing risk related to floorplan portfolios.
Maintain knowledge of financial best practices and federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to Floorplans and financing.
Collect on daily NSF accounts. Prepare demand for payment letters on default accounts.
Review and assess audit findings. Make recommendations for correction and risk mitigation.
Submit default accounts to third-party collection agencies and/or to the Auction Insurance Agency.
Gather and distill data to provide analysis of risk exposure and mitigation to management and internal stakeholders.
Verify dealer documentation accuracy, including financial statements and supplemental records necessary for filing.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or accounting.
5 years industry or related experience.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Working knowledge of all ACV Auctions products and services.
Working knowledge in various inventory finance software programs.
Experience using a CRM software (preferably Salesforce).
Experience in Risk & Loss mitigation.
Prior work experience in the Auto Financial Service industry is preferred.
Knowledge of automotive operations and/or auction experience preferred
