As a Behavior Technician, you will teach clients crucial skills such as communication, daily living, and social skills, while also guiding them in developing replacement behaviors to enhance safety and independence. We are currently conducting interviews for part-time Behavior Technician positions to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes, specifically supporting children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disabilities. The preferred availability for this role is between 3-8 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling options. Compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, including benefits such as paid time off, sick leave, drive time, and mileage reimbursement. We also have a performance incentive system that offers pathways to increase your pay.
We are also committed to your professional development here at Ad Astra! We provide access to 40 Hours of RBT training, the first step in qualifying you as an RBT under the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). For those that complete the entire RBT process, you will receive a 2$ per hour increase in pay.
As a Behavior Technician of our team, your responsibilities will be:
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to foster positive behaviors and skill development in individuals with unique abilities.
- Work closely with families, providing guidance, support, and training to empower them to continue the ABA strategies at home.
- Engage in collaboration with a team of professionals, using a synergistic approach to individualized care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records to track progress, making data-driven decisions that lead to the most magical outcomes.
