About the Role
This position offers an opportunity to build or continue a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). A behavior technician will deliver individualized ABA services, providing direct support to children and families. The work schedule is Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexibility available to accommodate individual needs. Compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. An increase in pay is provided to those who are Spanish speaking.
Responsibilities include teaching essential life skills such as communication, social engagement, and daily living routines, as well as implementing strategies to replace behaviors that limit safety or independence.Candidates must have experience working with children or hold an academic background in psychology, education, social work, or a related field. A successful behavior technician demonstrates reliability, patience, and a strong commitment to supporting the growth and independence of each client.
Qualifications include a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, professionalism, creativity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Professional Development and Incentive Opportunities
Each behavior technician receives access to 40 hours of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training at no cost, fulfilling the first step required for RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
The incentive structure includes:
- A $1 per hour raise for maintaining consistent availability for 90 consecutive days
- An additional $1 per hour raise awarded upon successful completion of the full RBT certification process
Cancellation Policy
A clear cancellation policy is in place to protect the time and earnings of every behavior technician. Paid cancellations are provided if a session is canceled within 30 minutes or less of the scheduled start time and the behavior technician has already left for the session. Additionally, criteria are established to monitor and address excessive client cancellations quickly to ensure technician hours are prioritized and protected.
