Job Summary
RNG Operations Manager is required to manage the day-to-day operations of landfills producing biogas in Kentucky and Syracuse. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of RNG production, including operating budget, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, gas nominations, reporting, health and safety, plant optimization, and performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
RNG Operations Manager is required to manage the day-to-day operations of landfills producing biogas in Kentucky and Syracuse. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of RNG production, including operating budget, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, gas nominations, reporting, health and safety, plant optimization, and performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage landfill operations, including waste disposal, equipment maintenance, and facility improvements.
- Communicate regularly with operations staff and host facilities to stay current with operational issues.
- Work with third parties to troubleshoot issues and maintain a high level of uptime for RNG's facilities.
- Interact and negotiate with external parties, including customers, suppliers, technology providers, utility providers, engineering firms, permitting agencies, and consultants.
- Develop, direct, and coach a team of Plant Operators and Technicians to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operations at all times.
