AD Innovations is looking for a PLC Technician. As a PLC technician, you will Install, repair, and troubleshoot, control systems within the dairy industry. Often technicians will spend time in the field troubleshooting and maintaining existing systems. Technicians will be expected to work with other engineers in designing and building new systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Respond to service calls.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance work orders.
  • Maintain and control the level of truck inventory.
  • Obtain all necessary certifications.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
  • Communicate effectively with external and internal personnel.

Knowledge and Skills.

  • Experience with Ladder Logic.
  • Electronic and electrical concepts and operating safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to use electronic and electrical test equipment including digital and analog volt and ohm-meters, oscilloscopes, data analyzers, and circuit testers.
  • Thorough understanding of communication protocols.

Salary Description

$24/hr depending on experience.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Troubleshoot, programs, and maintain PLCs.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete required documents, explain equipment features, and answer questions about the operation of the equipment to onsite individuals.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in tool usage, including phone and computer usage required for service calls, work order completion, on-site training tools, inventory, and time entry.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Replace faulty switches and other elements of electrical and mechanical systems.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Electronic Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery to include PLC.
