Who We're Looking For (Professionally) :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing, content, social media and event / promotional initiatives to elevate our brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, public relations, and content creation / strategy; with a passion for innovation in the advertising industry. This role will be pivotal in shaping our agency’s voice, driving recognition and achieving our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Content Strategy & Oversight :

  • Develop and manage the agency’s overarching content strategy across all channels, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and industry trends.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality content, including case studies, blog posts, newsletters, and social media campaigns.

Leadership Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with agency directors to refine and amplify their content contributions, ensuring a cohesive voice and impactful messaging.
  • Provide editorial guidance and support to directors and senior staff for presentations, thought leadership pieces, and speaking engagements.
  • Public Relations & Awards Management :

  • Drive public relations efforts to enhance the agency’s visibility, including building relationships with media outlets, drafting press releases, and coordinating interviews.
  • Identify and manage submissions for industry awards and recognitions, crafting compelling entries that highlight the agency’s achievements.
  • Brand Development & Promotion :

  • Lead initiatives to strengthen the agency’s brand identity and market positioning.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends to inform marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Campaign Management :

  • Work with internal team members to design and execute marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences and showcase the agency’s expertise.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing efforts, using data to optimize future initiatives.
  • Team Leadership :

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing projects.
  • Event Coordination :

  • Organize and oversee agency-hosted events, webinars, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Represent the agency at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within an advertising or creative agency.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in PR, content strategy, and awards management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
