Weekday shifts are flexible but we are looking for candidates who are available specifically on Saturdays and Sundays 12:00PM - 8:30PM

The purpose of these positions is to provide maintenance duties for all public areas at beaches throughout the county. This work will include restroom cleaning, trash pickup, cleaning showers, litter and debris pick up, event support and all maintenance related items within the parks managed by the Beaches and Water Access Division. These positions will be used to fill in for vacation requests, vacancies, holiday support and emergency work on the beaches.

• Cleans beaches, picnic areas, parking lots, playground, open areas in county parks, restroom facilities and buildings.
• Cleans, plants, fertilizes, irrigates, mows, and maintains grounds and play areas for beaches, natural areas, neighborhood parks, athletic fields, tennis, baseball, lawn bowling, softball, football, soccer, croquet and other sports.
• Removes debris and litter from grounds and buildings
• Works on maintenance projects, sets up and dismantles tables, chairs and decorations associated with special functions and facility utilization.
• Operates light automotive equipment, light landscape equipment and hand tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned or necessary by supervisor, such as but not limited to keeping operating records, material request, service request and work orders and keeps schedule of maintenance for assigned area(s). performs daily safety checks.

A High School Diploma or its equivalent.

Possession of a valid Florida Driver's license required
