What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Ministry Summer Aide position at Ada Bible Church?
Ada Bible Church is hiring part-time Summer Aides for our children's ministry, Discovery Village. This position offers an excellent introduction to ministry work as you help the Discovery Village team prepare for weekend services, work with volunteers, and interact with families who attend weekend services.
This is a part-time temporary position, offered at up to 20 hours per week during the summer. You should be available to work on Tuesdays and on Saturday or Sunday during weekend services.
What you will do:
- Perform various administrative and ministry duties
- Be actively involved in planning and carrying out children's ministry programming
- Assist the Discovery Village team at weekend services
- Prepare classrooms with supplies and resources
- Attend weekly meetings on Tuesdays
Qualifications:
- Be a committed Christian living a life of obedience to Christ
- Be teachable and open to feedback
- Be available to work during weekend services and one business day as determined by supervisor
- Have reliable transportation
