What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident-Production position at Ada Bible Church?
Ada Bible Church is seeking talented and creative individuals to join our Service Programming team as a Production Resident. This Residency offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our Production Coordinators and others as you grow and develop live audio, video, and lighting skills in a large church environment. You will be able to apply concepts you have learned in your schoolwork or other jobs to a real-word professional setting while sharing your insights and contributing fresh ideas to the work of Ada Bible Church’s Service Programming team. On Tuesday afternoons, you will get to meet weekly with other ministry residents at Ada Bible Church for spiritual formation, leadership and ministry development. This is a part-time temporary position offered up to 20 hours per week for July 2025 – May 2026 ministry season, with potential for extension.
What you will do:
- Serve as Production lead for our weekly, Wednesday and Sunday evening student ministry gatherings.
- Be involved in video, broadcast and audio roles as assigned at our Saturday evening services.
- Attend monthly meetings with the Resident Coordinator focused on professional growth, skill development and mentorship.
- Participate in weekly Production meetings with the Ada Bible Production team.
- Attend annual conferences with Ada Bible Production team for continued investment in personal, professional and technical growth.

Other key qualifications include:
- Relationally oriented with a lot of interpersonal savvy
- Possesses foundational knowledge of technical production systems (audio, video, lighting)
- Able to think critically and troubleshoot when things go wrong
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
