Leadworker – Grade Crew
A key role within the Adams Grade Crew at our Maintenance facility, the Leadworker is responsible for directing a crew to accomplish various maintenance activities. This position involves performing skilled maintenance functions such as chipsealing, fog sealing, crack sealing, asphalt paving/patching, gravel roadway and alley grading, and shoulder/borrow ditch maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance functions under general supervision of the Crew Chief.
- Assist with the direction of work for the crew and may act as Crew Chief in their absence.
- Respond to winter weather conditions and other emergencies, which may require working outside of normal work hours.
