Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Congestion Management Supervisor to join our team at the Ada County Highway District. This is a full-time, exempt position that offers an excellent benefit package and the opportunity to work on challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the activities and staff of the Congestion Management section of the Traffic Operations Department.
- Apply professional engineering knowledge and skills to traffic-related engineering projects.
- Prepare and manage the fiscal budget for the section and assist in the preparation of funding proposals.
- Oversee the design and construction of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Traffic Management Center operations, and other traffic control system projects.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Traffic Engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
- Experience in management principles and practices with the ability to supervise the work of engineers and technicians.
- Ability to operate computer systems and hardware/software related to ITS and traffic signals.
