Job Summary
The Ada County Highway District is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leadworker to join our Maintenance facility. This full-time, non-exempt position involves performing a wide range of skilled maintenance functions such as chipsealing, fog sealing, crack sealing, asphalt paving/patching, gravel roadway and alley grading, and shoulder/borrow ditch maintenance.
As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the direction of work for the crew and may act as Crew Chief in their absence. They must possess strong leadership skills, be able to work independently, and have the ability to shoot grade and calculate anticipated materials needed for upcoming projects.
