Crew Chief – Utility Crew
The Ada County Highway District is seeking a skilled Crew Chief to lead its Maintenance Division's Utility Crew.
This full-time, non-exempt position offers a competitive salary range of $29.80 - $34.30 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance operations personnel engaged in maintenance work related to concrete repair and replacement, drainage, irrigation, and utility repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards and assist in budget preparation.
- Estimate costs of material, labor, and equipment for maintenance activities and train crew members.
- Contract jobs with local contractors when the workload warrants.
Essential Qualifications:
- A current Idaho Class A CDL license is required, with the ability to obtain an Idaho CDL by start of employment and a tanker endorsement within 30 days.
- Previous supervisory experience and the ability to operate all equipment associated with the performance of assigned tasks are essential.
- General computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, and the internet, are also required.
