What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician Specialist position at Ada County Highway District?
We are looking for an experienced Materials Scientist or Laboratory Technician to fill the role of Engineering Lab Technician or Sr. Engineering Lab Technician at Ada County Highway District.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic construction and engineering practices and procedures, as well as experience using Excel.
Responsibilities include conducting sampling and testing of soils, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete, as well as providing technical support to District inspectors and contractors.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Valid Idaho driver's license required.
- Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs frequently.
