Job Title:
Crew Chief – Broom Crew
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a competitive hourly wage. The successful candidate will oversee the Maintenance Operations team members engaged in maintenance work and related street sweeping projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance operations team members
- Assure compliance of all applicable safety standards
- Assist in budget preparation and estimate costs for maintenance activities
- Train and instruct crew members
Requirements:
- Current Class "A" CDL license
- Good computer knowledge and recordkeeping skills
- Previous supervisory experience in roadway construction and maintenance
- Ability to operate all equipment associated with assigned tasks
- Experience with customer service is required
The ideal candidate will be able to respond to 24-hour emergency call-outs as requested.
