Supervisor - Accessibility and Mobility
A challenging opportunity is available for a Supervisor β Accessibility and Mobility in the Projects Department at Ada County Highway District. This full-time, exempt position offers a competitive salary range of $95,472 - $109,824 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) throughout the planning, design, and construction process.
- Coordinate and implement all District access and mobility programs, activities, and services, including policy development and project designs.
- Oversee a team of professionals and subject matter experts in Federal Funding, Accessibility Compliance, and Bicycle and Pedestrian Infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Considerable knowledge of ADA and related accessibility laws and regulations, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Public Rights-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), and disability discrimination complaint investigations and mediations.
- Thorough understanding of mobility from various users' perspectives, complete streets policies, safe system approach, and roadway design principles.
- Valid Idaho driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program (ACTCP) certification within 18 months.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
