Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings
- Maintain positive professional relationships with clients (internal and external)
- Use financial techniques to improve sales revenue
- Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met
- Track all business-related invoices
- Train sales professionals and help improve their skills
- Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
- Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients
- Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders

Skills and qualifications
- BS/BA – Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum of 8 years in a business development role within the Automotive Industry
- Proven record of sales growth
- Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
- Exceptional project management skills
- Previous leadership experience
- Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
- Strong ability for resolving conflict (point person – solutions expert)
Preferred qualifications
- MBA/MAS – is preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Know how to create and present important business documents
- Working knowledge of customer systems, including their internal purchasing, engineering, appearance approval and shipping systems.

- Working knowledge of internal systems including quote submission, and program cost tracking.
