Position summary:
The Senior Human Resource Generalist & Head of Talent Acquisition is an expert on people relations within ADAC’s organization as well as leading Talent Acquisition activities. Collaborating with internal and external business partners, this position handles a wide variety of HR activities which include employee relations, compensation, recruiting and assisting with HRIS and benefits . This professional also manages activities relating to talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement which all assist in driving the business forward. This Senior level position provides ownership and influence of their areas, and effectively serves as a coach and mentor to other team members.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Strategic partner who proactively sources passive and active candidates to build and maintain a quality talent pipeline for current and future workforce needs.
- Sets onboarding standards across the organization and oversees the process to ensure consistent and effective team member induction.
- Champions the ADAC Intern and Co-Op programs by building and maintaining relationships with schools, participating in job fairs, and continually improving the programs by applying lessons learned.
- Counsels managers and supervisors on and manages employee relations matters including investigations, corrective action, employee concerns, career counseling and recognition.
- Coach and mentor leadership and associates to improve working relationships, promote open communication and support a challenging and rewarding work environment.
- Utilize human capital management, or HCM, system to ensure accurate and timely associate information.
- Support and at times lead change management initiatives by developing awareness, understanding, ownership and accountability for change.
- Collaborate with internal partners to assess associate performance and make recommendations for associate development.
- Coach and mentor other HR team members and play an active role in establishing department key performance indicators via the business planning process.
- Work with Leadership to develop and execute talent acquisition, retention, assessment and succession planning strategies.
- Assist in establishing and achieving recruiting metrics that support and drive business results.
- Monitor legislative compliance in ADAC processes and procedures. Address and recommend solutions for issues of non-compliance if they arise.
- Act as associate liaison for payroll, compensation, and benefits inquiries.
- Manage HR projects and initiatives that support business strategies and opportunities.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related
- 10 or more years of progressive human resource experience, including previous employee relations experience
- 5 or more years of experience with leading recruitment efforts
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Previous experience working in the Tier 1 Automotive supply chain.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR certification
