Position Summary:
Is an exemplar in the development, coordination, implementation and support of ADAC’s strategies and initiatives for IT systems. Responsible for ensuring that IT related production and procedures are maintained and properly executed, including development, change requests, and customer driven EDI initiatives. Work closely with users and customers to leverage technology to meet company needs supporting automotive core competency.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Take a primary support role for assigned IT applications, work flows and databases, including process improvement, implementation, support, and administration, including leading regular user team meetings. Team members will collaboratively split workloads and specific process/technical responsibilities working with IT Management.
2. Daily support of IT systems and customer EDI. Responsible to resolve outages as quickly as possible, as well as provide root cause analysis and permeant correction of system/workflow processing issues.
3. Work with business unit & IT Team, as required, in the documentation of definition (SOW) of customer driven changes for the design and development of new and existing IT Systems.
4. Perform application design and .NET development, workflow development, system configuration, data mapping and system management for IT Systems. This includes active participation in all tollgate activities, as well as post implementation reviews.
5. Take a leadership and participative role in the pre-implementation testing for all new systems and system changes.
6. Monitor the performance of production systems, assuring they are operating as expected.
7. Regularly participate on IT cross functional activities contributing to and support IT production solutions. This work may often include working with IT support partners.
8. Develop and maintain planning and production process/procedure change documentation.
9. Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.
Education & Experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree with focus on computer science or equivalent
2. 6-8 years of experience working in a professional IT environment
3. Highly skilled in .NET development
4. Extensive experience with customer EDI information exchanges
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Has a high level of proficiency and is comfortable with on premise and web-based applications, working in a .Net development environment (.NET Core & .NET Framework), using Visual Studio and development languages like C#, C , SQL, Visual Basic, Agular etc. and the willingness and ability to learn X & EDI quickly. Needs to understand version control and object-oriented programming.
